Now that you know you need cotton candy, you'll need to decide how much you'll need, what flavor, and what kind of container would suit the event best. Of course, you'll need to decide if you'd rather make your own or would you rather have the cotton candy already pre-made to save the time and mess that comes with making your own cotton candy?

Whatever you decide, the following cotton candy options should have you headed in the right track leaving you with more time to plan the decorations, games, and even your outfit. Oh, and have you considered wearing a special outfit - maybe a clown costume or something?

Retro Series Hard & Sugar-Free Cotton Candy Maker Reviews

"I bought my retro machine to make cotton candy at my wedding. One of the reasons this one is so much more awesome than other machines is the fact that you can use hard candy in it. It's best not to use sticky hard candy (like jolly ranchers) and stick with the truly hard stuff (like butterscotch). I really like that you can also use the sugar free hard candy as well that way diabetics and the dieters at the wedding were able to enjoy it as well."

"We gave this to my son's friend. He loved it! It is very flexible. It comes with the machine and two cones to build the cotton candy on. The parts easily come off to wash. It does not come with any products to make the candy with, however, you can make the cotton candy out of sugar or any hard candy. We had crystals that we used to decorate cupcakes with, we used that also. The kids had a blast making it. You can also buy lifesavers and use those. It's amazing how much it makes. Great buy!"

"Great idea! It takes a little practice to get the technique right but then it's very simple to use. Makes cotton candy from any hard candy, we even used cough drops to see if it would work."

"Love it! Easy to use, Easy to clean, Easy to eat! Kids absolutely love making cotton candy and with 1 Tablespoon of sugar you can make a whole stick of cotton candy. Cleans very easily with hot water, soap and a towel. All around fun item to have around the house!"
